Every coding-agent session you have, in one sidebar.
The ones waiting for you come first.
sheepfold is a VS Code sidebar for people who run several Claude Code sessions at once. It reads your sessions from the spacesheep CLI, groups them by project and puts the ones waiting for you on top. The icon counts them; the status bar tells you when one needs you or finishes. A click opens the session in Claude Code, or its page on spacesheep. It needs the spacesheep CLI, signed in. A 220 Labs tool.
Version 0.5.5, on the VS Code Marketplace.
What it needs
- The spacesheep CLI, 1.26 or later, signed in, with
session reporting on. Without it sheepfold shows nothing: it holds no credentials and talks
to no server; it runs
spacesheep sessions list. - VS Code.
- The Claude Code extension, to open sessions.
What it cannot do
- It opens a session in Claude Code only when the session's folder is open in this window.
Every other session opens its page on spacesheep. Resuming in a new window or over SSH
exists and is off by default (
sheepfold.resume); it has not been watched working end to end. - The newest 100 sessions, no filters. Sessions from other agents (spacesheep also tracks Codex and others) are listed; opening them has not been tried.
What it does
- A sidebar of your recent coding-agent sessions, grouped by project. Sessions that need you come first, then the working ones; idle and finished ones are capped at three per project.
- The activity-bar icon carries the number of sessions waiting for you. With none, one line says what is still working, or that all is quiet.
- When a session starts needing you, or finishes, the status bar says so for 15 seconds. One click goes there.
- A session started by another session (a script that runs
claude -pfor it) nests under it, from a small link file or spacesheep'sparent_id. - Every row says what a click will do:
↗ app(a folder not open here),⇄ server(another machine),no transcript.

Status bar: Baa, app: login needs you
Drawn from the demo script in the repo, whose sessions are made up: the moment app: login starts needing you. The badge counts two, because api: rate limits, on another machine, was already waiting.
